Tim Geithner will be on the Boulevard of the Allies today talking trade. From Len Boselovic:

U.S. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner is scheduled to arrive in Pittsburgh today, where he will be greeted by a chorus of calls to bolster ailing U.S. manufacturers by taking action against China's currency and trade policies.

Mr. Geithner will tour Allegheny Technologies' plate mill in Washington, Pa., before meeting with United Steelworkers President Leo Gerard and U.S. Steel Chairman and CEO John P. Surma at USW headquarters, Downtown.

Also from today's PG: Karen Wolk Feinstein, president of the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and the Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative, praises the health care reform bill in an op-ed:

PRHI and similar regional quality coalitions across the country are focused on several bipartisan-supported, but little-noted, provisions of the new law. These provisions have the potential to "bend the curve" (i.e., reduce the rate of future increases) for health care costs. Some of this results from what is paid for and what is not.
